Welcome Message From Congress Chair

Dear Esteemed Colleagues, Researchers, and Professionals,

On behalf of the organizing committee and the International Working Group on Endoscopic Ear Surgery “IWGEES”, it is my great honor and privilege to welcome you to the 6th World Congress on Endoscopic Ear Surgery taking place in the beautiful city of Muscat, Oman, from 3rd to 5th December, 2026. This congress represents a unique opportunity to bring together the brightest minds and leading experts in the fields of Otology, Endoscopic Ear Surgery, Lateral Skull Base Surgery, Hearing Implants, and New Innovations and Technologies from across the globe.

Over the course of three days, we will engage in meaningful discussions, multidisciplinary experts debates, share cutting-edge research, and explore innovative techniques that are shaping the future of our field. This congress is not only a platform for learning and collaboration but also a celebration of the remarkable advancements we have achieved together.

Indications for endoscopic ear surgery continue to expand as surgeons increasingly employ endoscopes in the lateral skull base and Eustachian tube. While this Congress has “Endoscopic” in its title, we hope you will find that the program includes a broad spectrum of advances in otology that go beyond the endoscope, including hearing implants and inner ear regeneration. Furthermore, the program encompasses skull base surgery and all its related multidisciplinary specialties, including neurosurgery, neuroradiology, and neurophysiology. Additionally, we will explore the rapidly emerging technologies of exoscopes, digital microscopes, robotics, augmented reality and AI, which are revolutionizing our field.

Muscat, with its rich cultural heritage and warm hospitality, provides the perfect backdrop for this gathering. Please join us for the social events that will take place in the most glamourous places of the city. I encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity to connect with colleagues, exchange ideas, and foster new partnerships that will drive our field forward.

To all the participants, surgeons, researchers, and professionals joining us, thank you for your dedication to advancing the science and practice of endoscopic ear surgery and related disciplines. Your contributions are invaluable, and I am confident that this congress will inspire new breakthroughs and elevate patient care worldwide.

Once again, welcome to Muscat and I look forward to an inspiring and productive congress.

Warm regards
